Look at who needs facilities at the same time
Describe crew breaks or event intervals, the expected users and how long they remain. Include staff and vendors. Existing bathrooms should be counted only when the relevant group can reach and use them during the required hours.
Fit the number to a usable plan
Discuss placement, walking routes, accessible entry, washing and service alongside the proposed quantity. Limited space does not remove the need to meet the activity’s requirements. The organiser or employer should confirm the applicable rules rather than relying on a single general-purpose online ratio.
Explain simultaneous use, not just total attendance
A total number of visitors can conceal a short interval when nearly everyone needs facilities, while a workforce may arrive in separate shifts. Describe the actual pattern and the bathrooms available to those users. Discuss that information alongside washing, accessible needs and placement; a quantity cannot establish that an obstructed or dispersed layout will work.
